Member Name Tags

You may know who you are, but in an emergency will we?

Name tags help us help you!

With the size of the club (>400 members), it is necessary to identify each current member of the club.

  • When you become a new member, a name tag is made up for you and punched for the current year.
  • For existing members, as you pay your dues, your name tag is punched for the current year.
  • For lifetime members, your name tag identifies you as a lifetime member.

Emergency Contact

Use a Sharpie to write your emergency contact information on the back of your name tag. But, please wear it because it doesn't do much good clipped to your bag if we need to use it.

The club asks that all members wear their name tags during any club organized play or club organized event (like general meetings). The name tag lets other members know your name (without having to continually ask - because, well as we age, its tougher to remember!). Also, it is strongly encouraged that you put your emergency contact information on the back of the tag. In the case of an emergency on the court, wearing your name tag provides quick access to who you are and to your emergency contact information.

If your name tag or the clip becomes damaged, let one of the board members know and a replacement will be made.

If you lose your name tag, it will be replaced for a $1 charge. Contact any board member for a replacement name tag.
