SSV APPL Teams

During the 2023-24 season, we had 11 SSV Pickleball club teams that participated. Teams and results from the regular season can be accessed here. Four of our teams went to the state championships and one team played in the Nation Team Pickleball League (NTPL) tournament in Las Vegas.

The SSV Pickleball Club, women's 50+ 3.0 Pickled Pink took the Bronze Medal in the first inaugural National Team Pickleball League Tournament held in Las Vegas Oct. 2-6. Despite the 100+ relentless heat and back-to-back matches, the Pink's prevailed and took Bronze.

They were supported by their coaches Rick Fenton and Jim Driscoll to whom they owe a debt of gratitude. They were also supported by their husbands and the many Pickleball Club members who took a road trip to Vegas.

The Winter 2024 Season State Championships were held at Pueblo El Mirage in El Mirage, AZ - April 3rd through April 7th. Three of our women's teams and one mixed team earned the right to participate. Great play and great results.


The Sunland Slammers (women's 2.5 50+), captained by Glenda Wilson and Lori Sayler, brought home the State Championship banner!


Charley's Angels (women's 2.5 65+), captained by Von Miller and Judy Bottiglieri, Pickled Pink (women's 3.0 50+), captained by Kim Driscoll and Diana Kebbekus and The Village Dinkers (mixed 3.5 65+), captained by Coralee and Jon Peake, finished 2nd. All teams received a regional winners plaque.
